2004 -
Fourteenth Annual ISSSEEM Conference " June 24-30 " Colorado Springs, Colorado
Over the years, ISSSEEM has provided a safe place for dialogues
among scientists, clinicians, engineers, healers, and other seekers,
contributing to the evolution of the field of subtle energies and energy
medicine. We have shared our techniques and theories and passion for the
bridging of science and spirit. What we have learned sets the foundation for the
next wave of understanding and healing in our professional practices, scientific
explorations, personal lives, families and communities. At this fourteenth
conference we shall explore our scientific theories and clinical practices, in
order to more deeply understand and experience the healing process and its
source. Presentations will explore the common denominators in this field. For
example:
" What do our different perspectives, taken together, tell us
about the fundamental sources of healing?
" What is the relationship between science and our subjective experiences of spirit?
" How do we develop our own inner healing capacity? How do we assist others on this journey?
" Do intuition and intention have underlying scientific correlates?
" How do attributes such as quality, compassion, and inner peace relate to the healing
process?
In the spirit of serving and inspiring others, conference
participants are invited to look at the core of their own beliefs, experiences
and perspectives, and, having done so, to make a renewed commitment toward
wholeness and service to others.

2003 RETURN of the SACRED SCIENCE Celebrating the Mysteries of Healing -
Thirteenth Annual ISSSEEM Conference June 21-23, 2003 Boulder, Colorado
The mysteries of healing have inspired humankind throughout the
ages to explore potentials beyond the physical plane. We no longer have to ask,
"Is healing a real phenomenon?" Data exist that show that healing happens and
that healers affect the material world not all the time, not always with big
effects--but often enough and well documented enough that we can move on to
another stage of discourse. There are hundreds of thousands of healers in
practice throughout the world. The percentage of the public who has had healing
sessions is growing daily, and many integrative medicine centers have healers on
staff. We honor the diversity of paths that lead to healing. At this conference,
we will deepen our understanding of healing phenomena and their implications.
Where are we in our understanding of healing phenomena? What do we know "for
sure" from science and tradition? Where do we go from here as scientists and
practitioners? What is the association between healing and love? What research
could help further our understanding? What theories or models encompass what we
know? The conference is a celebration of the conjunction of healing and science
where we celebrate the known and the not yet realized opportunities to heal
ourselves, our communities, and the world at large through the reunification of
the sacred and science. Join us at this joyful declaration of the
interconnectedness of all life.

2002 The CO-CREATION PROCESS in ENERGY MEDICINE A Synergy of the Sciences & Healing Arts -
Twelfth Annual ISSSEEM Conference June 14-19, 2002 Boulder, Colorado
This conference will emphasize the value of exploring,
understanding and nurturing the co-creative aspects of energy medicine practice
and research. The field of energy medicine, informed by healing perspectives, is
a young and rapidly evolving scientific field. Evidence-based subtle-energy
exploration provides a framework for understanding human self-awareness,
self-regulation, and healing processes that are at the core of human health and
optimal functioning. Conference participants are invited to consider innovative
perspectives and time-honored traditions in an exploration of the synergistic
confluence of rigorous science and the healing arts. This meeting will focus on
the importance of diverse perspectives as we engage in collaborative discovery,
and immerse ourselves in the co-creation process. By focusing on this process,
we will be encouraging conference participants to consider the benefits of
moving beyond the authoritarian model of intervention as we explore the value of
developing collaborative relationships with our clients, research participants
and professional colleagues. The goals of the conference are distinctly
different from many other conferences in the area of consciousness, healing, and
integrative medicine in that it is a professional scientific meeting with
opportunity for scientists, clinicians, and lay persons to share knowledge and
expertise.

2001 The HEALING SPIRIT of ENERGY MEDICINE Integrating Science & the Medical Arts -
Eleventh Annual ISSSEEM Conference June 15-20, 2001 Boulder, Colorado
Of all the "subtle" energies, the most elusive is spirit. And
yet, the spirit/soul is that which is most human. Without spirit there is no
heart. Energy Medicine addresses ultimately the energetics of every aspect of
body, mind and spirit. The unfolding of the Healing Spirit of Energy
Medicine continues to motivate scientists, physicians and healers in the
noblest of the arts. This interdisciplinary conference offers new information
to clinicians, researchers, and health care providers to rejuvenate themselves
and their clients. The goals of the conference are distinctly different
from many other conferences in the area of consciousness, healing, and
integrative medicine in that it is a professional scientific meeting with
opportunity for scientists, clinicians, and lay persons to share knowledge and
expertise. Each day of the conference includes keynote addresses, panels and
reports from the medical, scientific and educational communities. Collaborative
panels will enrich our understanding of energy medicine modalities, including
innovative research, clinical applications and educational opportunities.
Workshops will address the integration of evolving alternative therapies into
clinical practice and daily life. Practical, professional skills courses for
intensive study, experience, and discussion that support the conference theme
will also be offered.

2000 THE HEART OF ENERGY MEDICINE A Renaissance of Health & Healing -
Tenth Annual ISSSEEM Conference June 15-21, 2000 Boulder, Colorado
In the renaissance of health and healing that is now occurring
we seek to understand and engage the energetic elements of our mind-body
continuum which affect health and healing. Evidence-based energy medicine
modalities which support the innate self-regulatory and self-healing capacity
within all living systems will be integrated with frontier science explorations
into the heart of healing. This interdisciplinary conference offers new
information and learning opportunities to clinicians, researchers, and health
care providers about ways to provide congruent health care that not only
relieves suffering but also promotes wellness. The goals of the
conference are distinctly different from many other conferences in the area of
consciousness, healing, and integrative medicine in that it is a professional
scientific meeting with opportunity for scientists, clinicians, and lay persons
to share knowledge and expertise.

1999 INTENTIONALITY & CONSCIOUSNESS Expanding Horizons in Energy Medicine -
Ninth Annual ISSSEEM Conference June 17-23, 1999 Boulder, Colorado
As we approach the twenty-first century science, medicine, psychology and spirit are being brought together in the exploration of clinical data, in research, and in applied healing practices. In this dynamic convergence we discover that intention plays a powerful role in affecting events and outcomes. Expanding the horizons of balance and well-being for humankind and the planet may depend, in part, on our ability to recognize and acknowledge the power of intention and to evolve conscious, beneficial intentions. This interdisciplinary conference offers new information and learning opportunities to clinicians, researchers, and health care providers about ways to provide congruent health care that not only relieves suffering but also promotes wellness. Together we will explore the importance of recognizing and implementing the power of conscious intention in both theoretical and applied aspects of the healing arts. The goals of the conference are distinctly different from many other conferences in the area of consciousness, healing, and complementary medicine in that it is a professional scientific meeting with opportunity for scientists, clinicians, and lay persons to share knowledge and expertise.
